Company ProfileFlemming Tinker, LLC was formed in 2005 to assist manufacturers and buyers of precision optics and optical systems. We provide value to our customers by assisting manufacturers of optics improve capabilities and profitability through operations improvement, quality improvement, and developing plans for strategic business growth. We also help buyers of optical components identify and qualify sources of supply. Flemming Tinker has been working in the field of optics engineering and manufacturing for over 20 years and holds degrees in Optics from the University of Rochester and Manufacturing Engineering from Boston University. Mr. Tinker has engineered and managed numerous programs in high energy laser optics, aerospace optics and optics for commercial production instrumentation. Mr. Tinker works as an independent contractor and consultant and is a guest lecturer and curriculum advisor on the manufacturing of optics at Three Rivers Community College in Norwich Connecticut.
